<p>It&#8217;s been announced and it&#8217;s going to be very soon that Android 4, or Ice Cream Sandwich, ICS for short, is coming to the HTC Desire HD.<br />
Now like the vast majority of people with DHD I&#8217;m really excited, so excited I contacted HTC for the Stock Gingerbread ROM, or the ICS ROM.</p>
<p>My email came back from support basically telling me that I&#8217;d have to send it off for repair??  To cut a long story short, if you&#8217;ve flashed a custom ROM to your Desire HD then without shelling out to HTC (again) you won&#8217;t be able to simply upgrade to ICS.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.itsadam.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/HTC-Desire-HD-Review.png"><img class="size-medium wp-image-684 alignleft" title="HTC-Desire-HD-Review" src="http://www.itsadam.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/HTC-Desire-HD-Review-300x247.png" alt="" width="300" height="247" /></a>So, I&#8217;m on the look out for the STOCK Unbraded ROM For a Desire HD, My phones totally unlocked and came sim free.</p>
<p>I will add, this is possibly the final straw with HTC, they release an app letting you flash custom roms to your phone but don&#8217;t offer the stock ROM to download? Madness.</p>
<p>Regardless of how sexual the HTC One X, I simply won&#8217;t be going with HTC no more, the build quality, problems, and pathetic customer service from HTC will leave me waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S3, besides it&#8217;s only a matter of 3-6 months until that model will be outdated.</p>
<p>If anyone comes across the stock rom please let me know! Will be posting on the XDA Forums, and If I find It, then I&#8217;ll add a new blog post and host the ROM!</p>

<p>Space is more too with a hinted 5GB Free to start Drive, compared to the 2GB from DropBox it&#8217;s going to get more people moving.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s hope the app auto uploads Photo&#8217;s you&#8217;ve taken off your Droid Phone to cloud storage!</p>
<p>But, with all these new Google Ventures, I wonder how long until Google becomes Aware!  #judgementday</p>

<p>Isn&#8217;t it insanely annoying some times when you open a CSS File or a HTML File only to find Dreamweaver has added loads of blank lines, if your CSS is more white space than code then running this script will be very helpful.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve used a tonne of CSS Compressors to fix Dreamweavers fail of blank lines in the past, but most of them do not support CSS 3, and the ones that do &#8211; seemingly do not support the transition effect.  This however, works fine with PHP, HTML and CSS (self tested).  So no more tears for those added line breaks in your PHP or CSS, just run this fix!</p>
<p>Open the file in Adobe Dreamweaver, press CTRL+F to load the Find &amp; Replace dialog box (or Edit &gt; Find and Replace).</p>
<p>Do the search on the source code view.</p>
<p>Check the box “Use regular expression” and un-check any other boxes.<br />
Find: [\r\n]{2,}<br />
Replace: \n<br />
The hit “replace all”</p>
<p>It may take a while so fit back and wait whilst your CSS / HTML or PHP Document is flushed of all those annoying line breaks!</p>
<p><strong>NOTE:</strong>  PLEASE ENSURE YOU BACK UP OR MAKE  A DUPLICATE OF ALL FILES BEFORE &#8220;CLEANING&#8221;.</p>
<p>&gt; I will not be help responsible for any lost work caused by this quick fix!</p>

<p>Today we&#8217;ve had a flood of errors with customer websites where google hosted jquery and other scripts from loading.</p>
<p>On most PC&#8217;s trying to access the Google Content Delivery Network (CDN) will give you a 404 error of the file not found!</p>
<p>If like me you have used Google&#8217;s DNS you might be confused because everything is working fine, however it seems OpenDNS has stopped access to the Google Datacenters due to a phishing scam??!?</p>
<p>Seriously? Good way to break half the internet guys!</p>
<p>OpenDNS Credit goes to:</p>
<p>https://twitter.com/#!/matbennett/status/154492602559897600/photo/1</p>
<p>Seems like I would suggest using a fallback script to local, this will then be bulletproof!</p>
<p>This sort of thing would work:<br />
<code><!-- Google jQuery or fall back to local --><br />
&lt;script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;<br />
&lt;script&gt;!window.jQuery &amp;&amp; document.write('&lt;script src="js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;')&lt;/script&gt;</code></p>
<p>Or if you&#8217;re using MooTools using Google Hoosted / CDN Try this:</p>
<p><code>&lt;script src=\"http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/mootools/1.3.0/mootools-yui-compressed.js\" type=\"text/javascript\"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;<br />
&lt;script&gt;!window.MooTools &amp;&amp; document.write('&lt;script src=\"js/mootools-yui-compressed.js\"&gt;&lt;\/script&gt;')&lt;/script&gt;</code></p>

<p>I&#8217;ve had my ups and downs with TSB, mostly due to their internet banking being absolutely ass and randomly not updating my account details for up to a week in any one time.</p>
<p>Anyway, this is the story of where I&#8217;ve applied for a house with my Girlfriend, a nice 3 Bedroom semi detached house in a very sought after location in Mansfield, Notts. We get the house and all is good, we decide to get a joint bank account so the bills can all come out of that and so that all the funds can go in and we know jointly where we stand month by month, and then can save accordingly.</p>
<p>We are both Lloyds TSB Account holders, although for some reason I have a Welfare &#8220;Cash Account&#8221; even though I have £1444 a month deposited in, I have had offers to upgrade but from the past annoyances I was always on about transferring banks to NatWest, who would give me an overdraft.</p>
<p>Anyway my girlfriends heads in to Lloyds TSB on her dinner break and is told by the customer services person, provided we are both account holders we can get a joint account within 5minutes, provided we both come to the bank and bring our cards.</p>
<p>So today, Friday the 24th of August, both my Girlfriend and I book half a days holiday and hit Lloyds TSB to get this joint account so we can sort out bills before moving in to our house on September the 1st.</p>
<p>After entering and being greeted by a lady, we&#8217;re told that they are unable to give us a JOINT account due to my account being a welfare &#8220;Cash Account&#8221;, so I said, &#8220;I&#8217;ve been harassed by TSB Staff to upgrade my account for ages, upgrade it then&#8221;. Her response was fine, and she set about upgrading my account, and turned to me and said, sorry you&#8217;re account isn&#8217;t eligible to be upgraded.</p>
<p>Apparently a few months ago my when the internet banking was playing up again and Tesco didn&#8217;t take the petrol debit out for a few days it caused me to go overdrawn (at the end of the month), which is the reason why they will not upgrade my account?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been with Lloyds TSB for many many years, I&#8217;d never expect any bank to refuse to give me a joint account purely by the type of my current account, nor can I see why I&#8217;m being refused an upgrade when it&#8217;s already been offered, they give my girlfriend the world and she earns ALOT less than me.</p>
<p>So Lloyds I&#8217;d just like to say, I will be moving banks unless I get a telephone call within 24hours confirming that you&#8217;ve upgraded my account, and asking us to come in and create a joint account. I now wish I wasn&#8217;t lazy and went to NatWest when I was supposed to.</p>
<p>Lloyds TSB, you have to be the worst bank in England (also your interest rate on loans is moronic). And before any smart arse comments about my credit rating, I&#8217;ve got a possible £5000 worth of debt I could get myself in to with various other store cards &#038; catalogues, a normal bank account is NOT too much to ask, and some decent customer service should be mandatory.</p>
<p>Contact me via Twitter yeah?, like yesterday.</p>
